Welcome to the consultation website for the Cottam Energy & Innovation Park. EDF invites you to learn more about and have your say on proposals for a new digital infrastructure campus on part of the former Cottam Power Station site.
The proposals would bring part of a former industrial site back into productive use, supporting the UK’s growing need for digital infrastructure while creating investment and opportunities for Bassetlaw and the wider region.
Cottam Energy & Innovation Park is our name for the proposed regeneration programme of part of the former Cottam Power Station site.
Cottam Energy & Innovation Park would comprise a new data centre campus that will support the UK’s growing digital economy, alongside four new Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) that would provide it with clean energy. We would also improve and restore the wider power station site, opening access to the River Trent and creating new public open space.
The proposals would help bring a former industrial site back into productive use while supporting investment, jobs and opportunities in Bassetlaw and the wider region.
